Lost exec producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof held court with roughly 6,500 fans for their last-ever Comic-Con this morning (sniff, sniff) -- and brought with them a few VIP guests: Jorge Garcia, Michael Emerson, Nestor Carbonell, and Josh Holloway. (They even brought someone back from the dead, namely Charlie -- a.k.a., Dominic Monaghan -- who made a surprise cameo at the very end.) Among the teases they gave for the sixth and final season of the show:

*The producers suggested that the timeline may have been changed by Juliet banging on the H-bomb in the season finale. They illustrated the possibility by showing spoof commercials of Hurley endorsing Mr. Cluck’s and America’s Most Wanted hunting for a still at-large Kate. Both commercials seemed to take place in a continuity where Oceanic 815 did not crash. Were these legit teases—or just jokes? Lindelof wouldn’t comment, but acknowledged that the show would be unwise to leave fans feeling cheated with a storyline that intimated the past five seasons never happened.

*Juliet and Faraday will appear in Season 6.

*Viewers will get significant Richard Alpert backstory in Season 6. It may or may not be tied to Black Rock.

*The Dharma Initiative mythology won’t be as emphasized as much as it was in Season 5; it might not get much attention at all. Fear not, you will get your Dharma fix through a series of web videos called “Mysteries of the Universe: The Dharma Initiative.” Launching soon.

*The producers promised a season that will tonally resemble Season 1: much jungle adventure, emotional resonance, and a sense of discovery. When asked if Season 6 would offer flashbacks to characters' pasts, Cuse said that Season 6 would take a different approach to flashbacks, but did not elaborate.

*In response to a fan question, the producers said that the mysterious Jacob has never assumed the form of anyone else, such as Claire.

*Funny recurring gag: In attempt to prove that they haven't been writing the series on the fly, the producers locked the final page of the series finale script in a box, and said that the box would be opened on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the night that the series finale airs. When Josh Holloway came on stage, he tasered Lindelof, and forced Cuse to open the box. Michael Emerson did a dramatic reading of the page, which turned out to be... a scene from Heroes. Dude Transformers is something I'm epically disapointed in. Like depressed about it almost. I'm such a huge TF fan, and the first one was so good. But this one was SO bad. I fucking hate Michael Bay. Learn to edit your movies in post you asshole. There's too much about the movie I didn't like, so I'm not going to bother typing for an hour about it. I am going to go see it again though, since I was really tired when I saw it. I just want to make SURE it's as bad as I thought.


In more personal news, my boyfriend and I broke up a few weeks ago. I was pretty upset about it at first, but I'm fine now. It's a little weird though. He broke up with me... but he still wants to be friends with benefits. I guess... Let me elaborate on the situation. He just had shoulder surgery, and his car is dead. So I went to Orlando yesterday to take him to his post-op dr's appointment. I was with him pretty much all day. His appointment was early, so we were both really tired. So we got back to his apartment and he made me breakfast and such. Then I laid down on the couch and he was like you can't have the whole couch but you can use me as a pillow. So he sat and I did. And we both sat/laid there for like a half hour and I napped while he played with my hair. That's not normal.. is it? lol. Meanwhile I'm talking to him on AIM as I type this, and he literally just asked me if I'd be interested in a friends with benefits kind of deal. I don't even know anymore. He's such an asshole most of the time, but then about 40% of the time he's sweet and funny. He says he won't push this idea if I'm not into it. I told him I'm open to the idea, a little. And I said whatever happens, happens. So. Yeah. Anyway, idk. Enough about him.


I'm going on a top secret road trip on like Sunday I think. It's going to be so epic. But I can't really talk about it, because I don't want to have to kill you all. But trust. I will talk about it after Sunday :D
